Nola Parker '3 Trees'

$0.00
NFS

3 Trees, gouache on paper, 5 x 7", 2021.

Artist Statement

‘Whether it is a suburban street or an untouched hillside, I am chasing the feeling of being lost in nature. It is that out-of-body sense of calm that comes from knowing that our human troubles are of no consequence to the tall tree, a slow-moving river, or even a dull rock worn down by time. I have always been a quiet observer and nature lends itself well to being watched: I paint what I see.’

Artist Bio

Nola Parker is a self-taught landscape painter that lives and works in central Vermont. Her work can be found in public and private collections nationally. She is represented in Austin, Texas by Wally Workman Gallery.
