Mikhaela Boyles 'Typical Monday Night'

$0.00
NFS

Typical Monday Night, Marker and colored pencil on bristol, 2020, 15" x 12.25".

Artist Statement

“My body of work revolves around my personal reflections with anxiety and self-deprecation with bright and up-beat elements. However, those moments also open up to healing and rest. "Typical Monday Night" is a reflection of the overwhelming start of the workweek and all I would want to do end of the day is to relax and spend quality time with my partner in the laziest fashion.”

Artist Bio

Mikhaela Boyles is an Asian-American, emerging artist and art educator in Huntsville, Texas. She is currently studying at Sam Houston State University pursuing a BFA in 2-D Studio Art with a Secondary Education and Art History minor. She will graduate in the Fall of 2021. She is an interdisciplinary artist who mostly utilizes KidPix, a children’s drawing program to interpret her personal anxieties and relative life experiences after moving out from her parent's house in 2018.
