Jennifer Hunold 'Spring'

$0.00
NFS

Spring, Colored pencil on Mylar, 2017, 8.5 x 11 inches.

Artist Statement

Imagined environments pulse with life, reflecting the complexity and liveliness of tangible and intangible elements: rigid and flowing, atmospheric and solid, structured and malleable, temperature and texture. Informed by geometric abstraction, pattern, and embroidery, landscapes and forms are drawn, gathering inspiration and energy from meditative walks and observation — moments of reprise in the frenetic pace of the day.

Artist Bio

Jennifer Hunold lives and works in upstate New York with her husband and "pet" plants. She earned her MFA from University at Albany (SUNY) in 2009 and BFA from the University of Iowa in 2005. In addition to making her art work and writing, she also works in marketing and advertising.
