Star creates work deeply rooted in human emotion, tapping into the parts of ourselves that are perhaps overlooked or hidden away. Often looking through the keyhole of society, her works entail affecting moments of individuals’ lives where getting a glimpse into the most personal aspects of humanity is possible. Sometimes employing dark themes, her work is frequently an examination of our shadow selves and begs to show a kind of reflection to the viewer.
